This recipe draws on two distinct Folktails resource chains. Maple Syrup comes from Maple Trees harvested by Tapper's Shacks, while Sunflower Seeds are grown at Farmhouses. Both are renewable resources, but Maple Syrup in particular competes with the Maple Pastries recipe at the Bakery for the same input. Players must balance their Maple Syrup allocation between food production (Pastries) and industrial use (Catalyst) based on their colony's current priorities. Sunflower Seeds are primarily grown for this recipe, making Sunflower farming a dedicated industrial agriculture operation.
