Bot Chassis

bot_component

The Bot Chassis is a late-game material in Timberborn, produced at the Bot Part Factory as one of three components needed to assemble a complete bot. Each new bot requires exactly 1 Bot Chassis, 1 Bot Head, and 4 Bot Limbs. The Bot Chassis represents the core structural frame of the mechanical worker and is the most resource-intensive of the three bot components to manufacture.

Bot Part Factories are specialized production buildings that can be configured to produce any of the three bot components: Chassis, Heads, or Limbs. Since bots require different quantities of each part (1 Chassis, 1 Head, and 4 Limbs), the most efficient factory layout dedicates separate factories to each component type. The recommended setup is 3 Bot Part Factories (one per component) paired with 2 Bot Assemblers, as Limbs are produced four times faster than Heads and Chassis.

Building bots represents one of the largest investments in any Timberborn colony, requiring extensive supply chains for Metal Blocks, Planks, and other materials that feed into bot component production. Plan your Bot Chassis manufacturing as part of a comprehensive bot production strategy, ensuring that all three components are produced at matching rates to avoid bottlenecks at the Bot Assembler. A steady supply of Bot Chassis, along with the other components, enables continuous bot assembly for expanding your mechanical workforce.
