Like the Small Industrial Pile, it is a solid structure that supports additional buildings, Platforms, Paths, and other Industrial Piles on top of it. This makes the Large Industrial Pile the premier high-capacity stackable storage solution for Iron Teeth colonies pursuing vertical building strategies.

The Large Industrial Pile's combination of higher capacity per level and full stackability makes it the optimal choice for Iron Teeth storage towers in mature colonies. By stacking Large Industrial Piles vertically and connecting each level with Stairs, you can create storage skyscrapers that hold enormous quantities of raw materials in a minimal ground footprint. This vertical storage approach is especially valuable near major production complexes where multiple goods need to be stored in close proximity, such as smelting districts (Scrap Metal and Metal Blocks) or lumber processing areas (Logs, Planks, and Treated Planks).
